Ray’s Big Day was commissioned by Tom Atkins, founder of the Visual Effects Society in Hollywood, CA as a tribute to visual effects icon Ray Harryhausen on his birthday. Ray’s Big Day screened with numerous other ‘video birthday card’ presentations provided by James Cameron, Phil Tippet Studios, Industrial Light & Magic, Rick Baker, Stan Winston Studios, John Landis and Steven Spielberg. Truly an honor to be part of this historic event.
